Together, We Can Empower the Next Generation

Give Hope, Give Opportunity

How Your Donation Helps

The Digital Citizen Academy Foundation was created out of a passion for helping empower, educate, and reduce the harm that can happen through technology, not because of it. We believe that with a compassionate and supportive approach that encompasses students, families and our schools we will build healthier and more balanced communities.

Donation Impact

K-12 Educational Programming

The Digital Citizen Academy School Program is a research based, grade specific program designed to educate, empower, and inspire students to become responsible digital citizens. Program results have proven that the Digital Citizen Academy School Program develops students’ abilities to make meaningful applications with their online choices and generalize learning to new problems and contexts.

Teen Mentoring Program

Using a comprehensive and compassionate approach, the Online Diversion Program works to reduce the likelihood of future violations, as well as educate and encourage those who have violated school rules and/or statutory laws that they can make better choices in the future.

Parent Program

The DCA Parent Program is designed to help parents navigate the complexities of online safety and digital citizenship. Through this program, parents are provided with the tools and knowledge they need to support their children in becoming responsible, respectful, and safe digital citizens. The program covers key topics such as privacy, cyberbullying, screen time management, and the responsible use of social media.

Diversion Program

The DCA Diversion Program is a proactive initiative aimed at helping young people who have made missteps in their digital behavior learn from their actions and make positive changes. Instead of facing punitive measures, participants in the program engage in educational modules focused on responsible online conduct, digital citizenship, and the consequences of harmful online behavior.
